[MCPE-7832] Cannot craft map

Have the materials needed to craft a map (compass and paper) but do not have option to craft map. My daughter tried on hers and it also did not work. I did search previous submitted tickets but did not see anything similar.

Unfortunately, maps are not available at the moment on Pocket Edition.

My daughter states she was able to make them previously? Will they be added/put back soon/in the future?

There were never maps implemented in Pocket Edition.

Sorry, but maps are not in Minecraft: Pocket Edition yet.
They will be added in a future update, but nothing is confirmed as of now.
