Recipe book missing cursor, and forced to craft full stack. No ability to just use one item to craft

There is no cursor/plus sign. Inside the recipe book. Number 2 inside recipe book your forced to craft the whole stack of an item rather than being able to craft how many you want. For exp. Had five wood logs, needed to make 1 log into 4 planks, but it made 20.
