Update Bug - No Map or Cursor

Ever since the most recent update a few days ago, I've had two issues. My cursor no longer appears, so if I'm in my inventory, or anywhere I have to be selective, I have to try and guess where my cursor would be on the screen. The latest update also made all maps invisible. I can see that they're in my inventory, but I can't see them. My hand appears, but there's nothing in it. I tried creating another map, hoping that would fix the problem, but that appeared for about a second before disappearing. I wondered if it was a sudden problem with my world, but it doesn't matter which save file I try
