my minecraft background scenery changes a lot and that sometimes crashes my minecraft

my minecraft background scenery keeps changing a lot, it changes to the gray scenarios which is the beta and then the red nether biome and it happens so much that sometimes it happens while carrying a world and sometimes it causes it to crash a lot I play and I get slow mainly online (and I always play in online mode and when there is no change of scenery minecraft works without any lock)
