Co-op players are sometimes cleared

Commonly when joining a game with split screen co-op, the joining player will be instantly forgotten. The player starts at the world spawnpoint, regardless of any beds created by that player prior; inventory and experience is also cleared, as if this is the first time the joining player entered the world.
