when I die and respawn is won't save my progress

ok I built a small house in minecraft. I go somewhere else in my world. I fall in the water and suffocate. it says respawn or quit to tittle. I click respawn and my house that was fully built with a bed I it is now halfway built. this is very annoying because I worked so hard on my house and then I die and it doesn't save the progress.

This is actually on alpha build 2 but I didn't have that option when I made this bug issue.
