Graphics issues

I've been experiencing issues with maps not rendering in hand not in item frames. This affects new and old maps. They also get stuck in my off-hand.

 

In addition, I'm not sure whether or not it's related, the GUI is glitchy, the cursor no longer appears, and the backing for the item labels flashes for a second when scrolling over items before disappearing completely, leaving only the text labeling visible.
