Beacon beam

I enrolled into the beta to see new features. I went into the nether to test out striders. Then I put a beacon with netherite blocks in a basalt delta biome. When I did that, I saw that there was no beacon beam coming from the beacon. Please fix this. Would appreciate it a lot.
