Daylight Sensors Prevent Noteblock Activation

Although the daylight sensor is considered a wood block by the noteblock & makes it a contrabass, the sensor prevents the noteblock from being activated by redstone. In other words, placing a daylight sensor underneath a noteblock prevents it from making any sound, except when initially placing the daylight sensor.

It does appear to work "as expected" with 0 daylight, so it seems that the daylight sensor is constantly powering the noteblock from underneath, so it's unclear if this is intended behavior.
