Auto dropper circuit not working as it used to

Hi there, 

 

I have used auto droppers for a while now. 

 

I use a dropper, a comparator, 2 observers and a sticky piston. 

 

When the dropper is loaded the comparator detects this but will not move the sticky piston as it always has.
