Enchanted Apple Banner Patten Recipe Not working

I placed an Enchanted Apple and a piece of paper into the Crafting table to make the pattern but it wasnt showing that i could craft the pattern, i even used the crafting menu to make sure i wasnt getting anything wrong but it still wouldnt allow me to craft it
