Split controls and lefty don't work well

Hi, I have a Nexus 7 2013 tablet, running a rooted android 4.4.2 and I'm testing minecraft pe 0.9.0 build 1. This happened in creative and survival mode. When I activate split touch controls in settings, I get a small darker rectangle at the bottom right of the screen and I can only turn around when touching inside it. If I disable split touch controls, the whole screen works and there is no darker area. Also, In split controls mode, I only get 5 item slots visible on the bottom while playing, and when disabled I get 7 or more. Also, in lefty mode I can't turn around at all. In the screenshot I attached, you can see that I get only 5 slots and the darker region of the screen.
