Weird warp sprout glich

When I destroyed a warp sprouts, it drops a weird invisable item on the ground. When I pick it up it looks like a enlarged spawn egg. It is invisable in my hand, I can't drop it using the B button, I can't put it in a item fram. It doesn't have a name, and it is listed under nature.
