Custom skins don't load and are replaced with the Steve skin.

The custom skins don't load in the skins list and also are replaced by the default Steve skin. Also, the moment you try to load a custom skin in, not only does it load as a Steve skin but also it doesn't show the character shape nor skin in the character type selection menu after selecting a custom skin. Sometimes even the game would crash when you select the skin that you pick from your files plus the capes don't show on the skins when you select a cape for that skin. Additionally, the moment you select your cape, the head animation plays and then the head gets stuck in a 90° position to the left. Could you please fix this problem?
