Cannot view friends list on Windows 10 edition

I launch minecraft windows 10 edition, and when I go to the friends menu, none of them appear online. I know for a fact they are online because I am talking to them on discord while it is happening. They are on ps4, I am on windows 10, I have them added on microsoft, and they still do not show up, however my friend on xbox one does show up.
