Shooting arrows at Village bells (naturally spawned) teleports the arrow

When you shoot village bells, they for some reason teleport the arrow north a few blocks away from the bell. The bell still makes its noise and does what its supposed to do, but it teleported the arrow. I tested this with two different villages and they did the same thing.
