Able to walk into smoker, provides X-ray glitch, start suffocating.

I am able to walk into a smoker block that is at bead height. If I only go in slightly, I am able to see through blocks, which is an X-ray glitch (shown in image). If I go any further into the block I start to suffocate.

After logging out and going back into the game it does resolve itself. However I have had this issue a few different times.

Expected result
The player should be able to walk up to the smoker and be stopped.

Actual result
Player walks straight through the smoker, right as you go into the smoker there is an X-ray glitch, as you go fully into the smoker you start to suffocate.

How to reproduce
1. Place a smoker at head height with no block underneath.
2. Walk slightly into the smoker (X-ray glitch).
3. Walk fully into the smoker, start suffocating.

While a small bug, there is an X-ray exploit glitch.
