Weeping vines placed unlimited

I used a diamond hoe efficiency V silk touch mend unbreak to start mining down some nether trees. Collected 4 weeping vines in the process. Was tying to get shroomlights from top of a tall tree, started tying to use the weeping vines. I was placing them, all over the place, hanging from stuff above, but the item count in my inventory did not update. I kept placing them all over to see if it kept doing it or if it would crash, it kept going. I tried mining them but it seems they are ghost weeping vines… they can be climbed, but yield nothing when mined. Doubt it can be a game breaking bug but still needed a report
