I get stuck on Nether loading loading terrain screen and i get kicked from minecraft

When i go through a nether portal, more often than not, i will get stuck on the loading terrain screen even though i can hear noises from the nether and even hear my footsteps when i try and walk around.

The other issue is that randomly about once every two-three hours, minecraft will just kick me from the game regardless of what I am trying to do
