The Skyrim pack for switch only works in creative mode not survival.

I just bought the Skyrim pack. When I try to play in survival mode, the game only loads in creative mode. The same thing happens if I try to play in adventure mode. If a second player joins, they can play in survival mode, but the first player is still stuck in creative mode.
