Fish flies over you'r head sometimes when fishing

When you pull back you'r catched fish it will sometimes fly over you'r head and land blocks away from you. This only happend to me when i catch salmon. I found this glitch in my survival and i could not make a screenshot of an screenrecord about it so sorry for that.
