PS4 + Microsoft + Minecraft error

I have a linked account signed into the PS4 version of Mine Craft 

I cannot get rid of it.  I have deleted all files on the PS4, I have deleted Mine Craft and reinstalled.  The wrong account is associated to it, and I need to switch it over.

 

3 kids + Quarantine + Corona means this is very important for the family. We just bought Minecraft and when it was setup we didn't realize how we needed the account on the PS4 to be configured. 

 

I have read the online FAQs on how some had luck deleting the files - and i have done this a few times, but afterwords I log into the new account and it sits idle at the singing in with Microsoft account login screen.  if i cancel it, it says there's already an account associated to this and says the old one.

 

I have no idea where to turn now.
