Unable to shear Bee Nests

Bee Nests don't have a right-click option for shears. Breaking them is the only way to interact with them. I've tried creative and survival, on different worlds, still no ability to right-click and harvest honeycomb. 

Bee Hives are still shear-able and give honeycomb.
