Lost my stuff

I was playing a game of minecraft on my ps4 with my inventory full and then all of a sudden I couldn't move my character. It said controller dissconected but my controller was connected to my system, it just wouldnt work with minecraft. I was right outside of my house and it slowly went to nighttime. I think it was right after the hotfix, and I was being hit by mobs. I wasn't able to save and quit and so I turned off my ps4. I turned it back on and went back to miencraft and I had none of my stuff and respawned. I went to grab my stuff from right outside my house and over half of it was gone, including my enchanted diamond pickaxe and enchanted diamond armor. I am very frustrated because I had spent a lot of time getting that stuff. If this hadn't had happened I wouldn't have lost my stuff. Anything that you guys can do to help me out it would be great.
