Nether wood cannot make Nether tools

So I recently started to mess with Minecraft Bedrock Beta and I noticed that you cannot craft wooden tools using the Crimson and Warped Planks. I played the Java Edition and noticed that in the snapshot that you CAN craft wooden tools with the new Nether wood. I prefer the Bedrock edition because of how much smoother it runs and that it's more universally used. I really hope that this is a bug and not an "exclusive feature to Java Edition". Love the new update though!
