Random Fall Damage Even With Feather Falling 4

Random fall damage even with feather falling 4. I wear my feather falling 4 boots and i jump at a 5 block tall and i take a half heart fall damage,and then I try it again and give me no fall damage. I hope this annoying bug get fix soon.
