No one can see my chats

Whenever I go on a server on windows 10 edition (bedrock) No one can see my chats. I will say "Can anyone see this?" and no one responds and my friends joined to check too, and nothing. I have checked my privacy settings in xbox multiple times. I even called customer services and they told me that it has nothing to do with my account. Can someone please tell me what to do!
