Snowballs and eggs doesn't give other players knockback when thrown at them

Snowballs and eggs doesn't give other players knock back when thrown at them. On LAN I was throwing eggs at a player and it didn't give them any knock back. To reproduce, be on any LAN, external, or realm on survival. Have a egg/snow ball and throw it at a player.
