I can't melt gold in anny were

Me and my friend Lincoln kawai were playing Minecraft in beta version 1.16.057 and we noticed a problem. we were in no way able to make gold bars for the production of golden apples. we hope you resolve this bug. thanks for your attention and understanding. XD
