Wolves catch on fire when someone joins

So, when my friend (he plays on Android) starts a world and when anyone joins (including myself), a fire will randomly start around any of the tamed wolves in the world. Neither of us know exactly why it happens, and there wasn't any lava or other fire around. My friend is not willing to have my leave and rejoin to trigger the bug again and there isn't any easy way I can get a screenshot.
