Lost inventory when game crashed

When I died I recovered my items but then My game crashed but When I entered the game again I realised my items disappeared from my inventory I went back to were I died to see if my items were there and I couldn't find them anywhere so I lost a diamond pickaxe and a lot of chiselled stone because if the bug
