Importing worlds and packs always fails

If you try to open a .mcworld, .mcpack or .mcaddon file, the import fails every time. Placing the files directly in the game directory only works for worlds, not resource packs or addons. 

This effectively makes it impossible to download anything from external sources or test your own creations.
