EnderEyes keep to disappear

the eyes of ender keeps to disappear 

What I expected to happen was...:

when I use the ender eye (in survival) it should fly and guide me to the portal and then falls on the ground 

What actually happened was...:**

when I threw it flew and shaked a little and then had particles around it and then disappeared 

Steps to Reproduce:**

1-get an eye of ender

2-use it (in survival)

3-Notice that it will shake and disappear
