Black screen on startup.

Downloaded Minecraft PE from Google Play Store today. (31/03/2013)
My tablet is a Zenithink ZT Pad running
zt282_h3_1a_1gb_c91_android4.0_0818_v1.42

When I attempt to open Minecraft PE Version 0.8.1, the screen goes black and stays black.

I've searched this website for instructions - there are multiple reported issues of the same problem, all of which give no information for the user, they just say 'issue resolved' or 'duplicate of issue number....'. There is no information about what I should do.
