Split Screen not supported on Realms (?)

Hi! When we play a local multiplayer game, we can enable split screen by pressing the Menu button on the 2nd controller. However, when we login to a work on Realms, nothing happens when we press the menu button on the 2nd controller. Please let me know if we're doing something wrong. Thanks!
