Problem in smelting gold

In the beta version of MCPE version 1.16.0.57. The bug that I found was that gold is not smelting in either a furnace or the blast furnace. I tried to smelt iron ore nad that was smelting perfectly in both of the furnaces but for sole reasons gold ore is not smelting in either of the furnaces.
