Gold ore bug

When I put some gold ores in the furnace to heat up, nothing happens, it doesn't heat up and I can't get my gold bars.

This bug occurred after the last bedrock edition beta update on the play store.

Note: I am using a resource pack but this has not affected anything in the game other than visually.
