Players suffocated when the piston pushed

I found a crashing feature when doing a redstone elevator:

When the player is standing on the sticky piston in motion, the player will sometimes be sucked into the piston. If the piston continues to run, then the player will get stuck in the piston and will not jump. Suggest repair
