New update causes items to disappear before 5 minutes

I died in an elytra crash on my realm today as soon as I died I downloaded a backup to find my stuff with /testfor. My stuff was gone, so I died twice more to test. Both times about half my items stayed while the other half were gone again. This never happened before 1.14.60.
