whenever i leave a world it never leaves and just stays on the loading screen

so whenever i leave any world or server it always stay on the generating world (loading resources) screen and i can do anything except click off onto another game ... when i click back onto minecraft it always tells me to restart my console but then it still loads perfectly fine.
