Fortune enchantment has no effect

I have a fortune 3 netherite pickaxe. When I try to mine coal ore, i get the exact same amount of coal as the ores I mined. I have the exact same issue with other ores such as diamond and emerald. This issue was present also in the previous build (1.16.0.55 beta). Please fix because it is very annoying.
