cant delete worlds!!!!!!!!

So i have had minecraft for years and now sinse 0.8.1 i cant delete worlds i have to go to my files and delete it in order to delete it it has to be freshly generated world and its not just on the nexus 7 also on the trio stealth glaxy 3 and lg optimus l9
