Villagers sent thru a nether portal takes damage and doesn't appear in the nether

To remake this bug simply place a villager into a boat or minecart... break the boat or minecart and send the villager thru the nether portal... when player enters the nether portal there wil be no villager in the nether... this bug occured in minecraft java 1.9
