Cannot collect arrow issue

There was a weird bug when I tried to collect arrow when it stick to sticky piston. When the repeater start, I can't even collect the arrow unless you turn redstone tick off. Something is different, you can collect trident with it but not with arrow, is this a bug or a feature ?
