Free bedrock account already redeemed

I have had Minecraft for 6 years and have just recently heard about getting bedrock for free on PC Windows 10. I got the code and pressed redeem and it took me to he Microsoft store with the code. But when I went to press submit it said that the code had already been redeemed even though I have not played PC for a very long time. Is there any way I can recover a code or get a new one
