Fortune enchantment not working on any pickaxes in most recent beta patch

Enchanting a pickaxe with fortune via an Enchanting Table or via a fortune book and an anvil will assign the enchantment ID to the item and show it in the GUI but mining blocks susceptible to fortune will have no effect.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

Enchant any pickaxe with Fortune II or III

Mine 100-200 blocks of ore susceptible to the Fortune enchantment.

You will find that you receive 1:1, items:blocks-mined
