when i use tnt on the surface, grass blocks nor dirt explode.

tnt refuses to blow up the grass and dirt blocks

What I expected to happen was dirt and grass blocks to blow up

What actually happened was dirt and grass blocks do not blow up

1. place tnt on the surface
2. ignite the tnt with flint and steel
3. grass and dirt blocks dont blow up after tnt explodes
