Freeze and screen shaking

When I enter water (only when I have difficulty on non-peaceful) or sometimes when I'm building up (jump, place block under me, jump, place) the screen starts shaking and the game freezes. Entities cannot move, and I don't see myslef moving but I am moving. The only way to fix this is to leave the water.
