Quit the game down in the mines Come back in spawn in the surface

What I expected to happen was...:
I was searching for Iron to mine the gold I found. My mom called me to do somethign so I quit the game
What actually happened was...:
When I came back in my survival game I spawned ont he surface in the middle of nowhere instead of the gold I found. This rarely happens it happened to me once

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Quit the game in the Mines
2. Log back in and spawn int he surface
3. Rarely happens cause this the first time it happens to me.
