Loyalty tridents don’t return when thrown into a extended piston

If a loyalty trident is thrown into a piston head(extended) it will not return and the player will have to go retrieve it.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go into survival(may affect creative; untested)
2. Place a piston and power it
3. Throw your trident into the extended head(from a distance so you don’t instantly pick it up)
4. Observe the trident staying in the piston head
